Fix for Rosetta Stone Error 2122, 2123 and 2125 in the Version 3 program.

Error 2122, 2123 and 2125 are the most common error we get with all the Rosetta Stone Version 3 program.

This issue can be simply resolved and we have to be very careful while resolving it as we might lose all the progress what we have done till now.

Here i will give you the instructions step by step to resolve it.

1 ) Restart your computer 3 times continuously to resolve this issue. This might sound funny but trust me this will work sometimes.

If the above step won't work follow the below instructions. Here we have to rename the file call tracking.db3 to resolve the issue

If you are using Windows XP :

Click on the Start menu= > My Computer = > C Drive = > Documents and Settings = > All Users = >  Application Data = > Rosetta Stone

Note ** Do Not Delete that File

You have to rename that file to tracking1.db3 by right clicking on it and clicking on Rename

After renaming this file open Rosetta Stone Program form Start menu = > All Programs

Then it will ask you to Create a new learner now close the program

Now the final step is to Rename that tracking1.db3 back to tracking.db3 by just removing that  "1" form that name.

Open Rosetta Stone Version 3 program and the error should get Resolved

If you are using Windows Vista or 7:

Click on the Start menuclick in the Search bar

Type %programdata% and hit enter in the search bar

Now type Computer or ThisPC on the keyboard directly and click on the icon on the screen

If you don't see that that means you have to un hide it

Click on View option on the top of the menu bar

Then see for Options = > Folder options = > Click on View tab = > From the list select Show hidden files and folders and click OK

Now you should see ProgramData folder so opne it.

  9. Rosetta stone error is actually direct and indirect related to the database. When we found this error then most of the time its mean "Database is out of date". There different names of that errors like 2122, 2123, 2125 and more. We visit official website of rosetta or other sites to get the solution.

  12. Restarting 3x did not fix it for me, but it did change the error code from 2125 to 2123. Changing Tracking.db3 to tracking1.db3 didn't work either. Only when I changed it to tracking1.db3, then without opening rosetta stone yet, restarting, after restart changed name back and it worked.
